  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 1x

Description

A quick and flavorful stir fry featuring tender chicken coated in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce, perfect for a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the chicken strips and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic, bell pepper, and broccoli to the skillet. Stir fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetables.
  5. Stir to coat everything evenly and cook for another 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Serve hot, optionally over rice.

Notes

For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the sauce. Ensure chicken is fully cooked to an internal temperature of 165Β°F.
