- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken strips and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic, bell pepper, and broccoli to the skillet. Stir fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
- In a small bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetables.
- Stir to coat everything evenly and cook for another 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Serve hot, optionally over rice.
Notes
For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the sauce. Ensure chicken is fully cooked to an internal temperature of 165Β°F.
