- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 boneless chicken breasts, sliced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 strips bacon, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken breasts and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the honey, garlic, salt, and black pepper, and cook for another 2 minutes until the chicken is glazed.
- In a separate pan, fry the chopped bacon until crispy; remove and drain on paper towels.
- Add the heavy cream to the chicken mixture and simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Toss the cooked pasta with the chicken and sauce, then top with crispy bacon before serving.
Notes
For a healthier twist, use turkey bacon and low-fat cream. Ensure honey is pure for best flavor.
