For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 8 oz wide egg noodles, cooked and drained
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat; drain excess fat. Stir in the marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until smooth and well combined.
- Layer the cooked egg noodles in the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the noodles. Pour the meat sauce over the cream cheese layer.
- Sprinkle the top evenly with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and lightly browned.
