Description

Tender meatballs coated in a sweet and savory Korean BBQ sauce, served with a creamy spicy mayo dip.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, panko breadcrumbs, egg, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place on a baking sheet.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through.
  4. In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar, gochujang, and a splash of water. Heat until thickened.
  5. Toss the cooked meatballs in the BBQ sauce.
  6. For the spicy mayo dip, mix mayonnaise, sriracha, and lime juice in a bowl.
  7. Serve the meatballs with the spicy mayo dip on the side.
