Description

This ultimate comfort food combines the flavors of chicken parmesan in a grilled cheese sandwich for a quick and satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 cooked chicken breast, sliced
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Butter one side of each bread slice.
  2. On the non-buttered side of one slice, layer mozzarella cheese, chicken slices, and marinara sauce.
  3. Top with the other bread slice, buttered side out.
  4. Grill in a pan over medium heat until golden brown and cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Notes

For extra flavor, use freshly grated Parmesan on top.
