Instructions
- Clean and prepare the calamari rings by rinsing them under cold water and patting dry.
- In a bowl, mix the calamari with minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the marinated calamari. Cook for 3-4 minutes until golden and tender.
- For the aioli, combine mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt in a small bowl. Mix well.
- Serve the cooked calamari hot with the aioli on the side.
Notes
Ensure calamari is not overcooked to avoid rubbery texture. Pairs well with a crisp white wine.
