Description

Tender chicken strips marinated in lemon and garlic, coated in parmesan breadcrumbs and baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, toss chicken tenders with lemon juice and olive oil.
  4. Dredge each chicken tender in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to coat evenly.
  5. Place coated tenders on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For extra crispiness, broil for the last 2 minutes. Pairs well with roasted vegetables or a fresh salad.
