Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Pecorino Romano cheese
  • Zest of 2 lemons
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • For the sauce: 1 cup heavy cream
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix grated Pecorino cheese, lemon zest, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush chicken breasts with olive oil and coat evenly with the cheese mixture.
  4. Place chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
  5. For the sauce: In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and lemon juice, simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
  7. Serve the chicken with the creamy lemon sauce drizzled on top.
