Description

A rich and creamy casserole featuring layers of ravioli, cheese, and sauce, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 package (25 ounces) frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the marinara sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper; simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  5. Layer half of the frozen ravioli over the sauce, then spread half of the sour cream over the ravioli.
  6. Sprinkle with half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli, sour cream, and cheeses.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

This casserole can be assembled ahead of time and refrigerated; just add 10 minutes to the baking time if baking from cold.
