Description

Grilled chicken breasts topped with barbecue sauce, cheese, and bacon for a flavorful meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Brush the chicken with olive oil and grill for 6-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
  4. During the last few minutes of grilling, brush the chicken with barbecue sauce.
  5. Top each chicken breast with shredded cheese and bacon.
  6. Close the grill lid and cook until the cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from grill and garnish with green onions before serving.

Notes

For a healthier option, use turkey bacon. Ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
