Description

A hearty pasta dish featuring beef, rigatoni, mozzarella, and a creamy garlic herb sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 8 ounces rigatoni pasta
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook rigatoni according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic; sautรฉ until softened, about 3 minutes.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet; cook and stir until browned and crumbled, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if needed.
  4. Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add cooked rigatoni to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
  6. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella over the top and stir until melted and creamy.
  7. Remove from heat and let sit for 1-2 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes. This dish pairs well with garlic bread.
