- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 ounces rigatoni pasta
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of salted water and cook rigatoni according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic; sautรฉ until softened, about 3 minutes.
- Add ground beef to the skillet; cook and stir until browned and crumbled, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally for 2-3 minutes.
- Add cooked rigatoni to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella over the top and stir until melted and creamy.
- Remove from heat and let sit for 1-2 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes. This dish pairs well with garlic bread.
