Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 8 oz mozzarella cheese, cubed
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped spinach, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until well combined.
- Take a small portion of the mixture and flatten it in your palm. Place a cube of mozzarella in the center and form the meat around it to make a ball. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and golden brown.
- Serve hot with your favorite sauce.
Notes
For extra juiciness, avoid overcooking the meatballs. Ensure the cheese is fully enclosed to prevent leaking during baking.
