  • Author: Chef Lalybeth
  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 4 1x

Description

These juicy and cheesy meatballs are stuffed with mozzarella, spinach, and garlic for a flavorful twist.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped spinach, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until well combined.
  2. Take a small portion of the mixture and flatten it in your palm. Place a cube of mozzarella in the center and form the meat around it to make a ball. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
  3. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and golden brown.
  5. Serve hot with your favorite sauce.

Notes

For extra juiciness, avoid overcooking the meatballs. Ensure the cheese is fully enclosed to prevent leaking during baking.
