- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, mushrooms, Swiss cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160Β°F (71Β°C).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, sautΓ© the mushrooms before adding them to the mixture. Pairs well with mashed potatoes.
