- 1 lb thinly sliced beef steak
- 12 mozzarella sticks
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Marinate the beef slices in buttermilk for 30 minutes.
- Wrap each mozzarella stick with a slice of beef.
- In a bowl, mix flour, cayenne, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge the wrapped sticks in the flour mixture.
- Heat oil to 350Β°F and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
Notes
Be cautious with the cayenne for spice level; serve with ranch for cooling effect.
