- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 4 bananas, sliced
- 1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 tub (8 ounces) whipped topping
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- maraschino cherries for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish to form the crust.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Spread this mixture over the crust.
- Layer the sliced bananas over the cream cheese layer.
- Spread the drained crushed pineapple over the bananas.
- Top with whipped topping, spreading evenly.
- Sprinkle chopped nuts on top and garnish with maraschino cherries.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to set.
Notes
This cake must be refrigerated and is best served chilled. Use fresh bananas for the best flavor.
