Description

A simple no-bake treat combining orange zest and cream cheese for a creamy, citrus-flavored dessert.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup crushed vanilla wafers for coating

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add powdered sugar, orange zest, and vanilla extract; mix well.
  3. Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until fully melted.
  4. Combine the melted chocolate with the cream cheese mixture and orange juice; stir until smooth.
  5. Refrigerate the mixture for 1 hour or until firm enough to handle.
  6. Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions and roll into balls.
  7. Roll the balls in crushed vanilla wafers to coat.
  8. Refrigerate the truffles for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

These truffles can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. For a stronger orange flavor, add more zest.
