- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup Nutella
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat eggs, oil, Nutella, buttermilk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fill cupcake liners 2/3 full and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool completely before frosting.
Notes
For extra flavor, swirl more Nutella on top after baking.
