Description

A decadent casserole made with Nutella-stuffed bread, soaked in a creamy egg mixture and baked to golden perfection.


Ingredients

  • 6 slices of thick bread
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Spread Nutella on each bread slice and sandwich them together.
  3. In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  4. Dip sandwiches in the egg mixture and place in the baking dish.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and set.
  6. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Serve with fresh fruits for a balanced breakfast. Can be prepared ahead and refrigerated overnight.
