Description

A classic recipe featuring crab meat melted on English muffins with cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (6 ounces) crab meat, drained
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onion
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 4 English muffins, split
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together crab meat, mayonnaise, celery, green onion, Worcestershire sauce, and Old Bay seasoning.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly on the English muffin halves.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of each muffin half.
  5. Place on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a spicier version, add more Old Bay seasoning to taste.
