Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain excess fat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, paprika, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Meanwhile, cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions; drain.
  5. Add the cooked macaroni to the skillet and stir to combine. Cook for another 5 minutes to meld flavors.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with optional cheese or herbs.
