Description

A super creamy one-pan pasta dish featuring shrimp and fettuccine in a rich Alfredo sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  5. Add fettuccine pasta and cook until al dente, stirring occasionally.
  6. Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  7. Add the cooked shrimp back to the pan and stir until everything is well combined and creamy.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
