Description
A hearty and comforting casserole made with ground beef, pasta, and cheese all cooked in one pot.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
 - 1 onion, chopped
 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
 - 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
 - 2 cups beef broth
 - 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
 - 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
 - Salt and pepper to taste
 
Instructions
- In a large pot, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
 - Add onion and garlic; cook until softened.
 - Stir in diced tomatoes and beef broth; bring to a boil.
 - Add uncooked macaroni; reduce heat and simmer until pasta is tender.
 - Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
 
Notes
For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
