Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 packages ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets)
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 cup beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
- Stir in minced garlic, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes; cook for 1 minute.
- Add soy sauce, brown sugar, and beef broth; bring to a simmer.
- Add ramen noodles to the pot and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in green onions and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot.
Notes
For a spicier version, increase the red pepper flakes. This recipe is quick and perfect for weeknights.
