Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Pie crust dough for base

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish and press the pie crust dough into the bottom.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Stir in the chopped pecans.
  5. In another bowl, whisk the eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  6. Combine the wet and dry mixtures until well blended.
  7. Pour the batter over the pie crust in the baking dish.
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden and set.
  9. Allow to cool before serving.
