- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups whipped topping
- 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- Additional chopped pecans for garnish
Instructions
- Step 1: In a medium bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish to form the crust. Chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
- Step 2: In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined. Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping.
- Step 3: Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled crust.
- Step 4: In another bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk until thickened. Spread this layer over the cream cheese layer.
- Step 5: Add another layer of whipped topping over the pudding layer.
- Step 6: Sprinkle chopped pecans and drizzle caramel sauce on top. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
- Step 7: Garnish with additional pecans if desired before cutting and serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, toast the pecans before adding them. This dessert can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
