Description

A decadent layered dessert combining the flavors of pecan pie and lasagna, featuring cream cheese, pecans, and a buttery crust.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups whipped topping
  • 2 packages (3.4 oz each) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Caramel sauce for drizzling

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined. Press into the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish to form the crust.
  2. Sprinkle chopped pecans over the crust and press lightly.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping and spread over the pecan layer.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together pudding mix, milk, and vanilla extract until thickened. Spread over the cream cheese layer.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set. Drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.

Notes

For a nut-free version, substitute pecans with walnuts or omit them entirely. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
