- 8 oz penne pasta
- 2 boneless chicken breasts, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken breasts and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sautΓ© for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until well coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or milk.
