Description

A creamy and flavorful pasta dish featuring penne tossed with garlic, parmesan cheese, and tender chicken in a rich sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 2 boneless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken breasts and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sautΓ© for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until well coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or milk.
