- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- For the frosting: 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup orange zest
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and grease a cake pan.
- In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Mix in the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt alternately with orange juice.
- Fold in the crushed pineapple.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 40-45 minutes.
- Allow the cake to cool completely before frosting.
- For the frosting: Mix powdered sugar and orange zest, then spread over the cooled cake.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Garnish with fresh orange slices for extra flavor.
