- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef with onions over medium heat until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
- Stir in pizza sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; simmer for 5 minutes.
- Place the pre-made pie crust in a pie dish.
- Layer the beef mixture into the crust, top with pepperoni and shredded cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, substitute ground beef with plant-based crumbles.
