Description

A refreshing no-bake pie perfect for the holidays with a peppermint twist.


Ingredients

  • Crust:
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • Filling:
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 1/2 cups whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup crushed candy canes
  • Topping:
  • Additional whipped topping
  • Crushed candy canes for garnish

Instructions

  1. Step 1: In a bowl, mix chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter until combined.
  2. Step 2: Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie pan to form the crust. Chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
  3. Step 3: In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and peppermint extract, mixing well.
  4. Step 4: Fold in whipped topping and crushed candy canes until fully incorporated.
  5. Step 5: Pour the filling into the prepared crust and smooth the top.
  6. Step 6: Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until set.
  7. Step 7: Before serving, top with additional whipped topping and garnish with crushed candy canes.

Notes

For a festive touch, use red and white candy canes.
