Description

A simple, flavorful Indian dish made with tender chicken in a creamy tomato-based sauce.


Ingredients

  • 500g boneless chicken thighs, cut into pieces
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken with ginger, garlic, garam masala, turmeric, and chili powder for 15 minutes.
  2. In a pan, melt butter over medium heat and sautΓ© onions until golden.
  3. Add the marinated chicken and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in tomato puree and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Add heavy cream and cook for another 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.

Notes

For a spicier version, increase the chili powder. Serve with naan or rice.
