- 1 box red velvet cake mix
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup water
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- For the topping: 1 container whipped topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Allow the brownies to cool slightly, then poke holes all over the top using the end of a wooden spoon.
- Pour sweetened condensed milk over the holes and let it soak in.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the brownies.
- Top with whipped topping and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
Ensure brownies are still warm when poking holes for better absorption. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
