Description

A decadent dessert featuring red velvet brownies soaked with a creamy filling and topped with frosting.


Ingredients

  • 1 box red velvet cake mix
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • For the topping: 1 container whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  3. Allow the brownies to cool slightly, then poke holes all over the top using the end of a wooden spoon.
  4. Pour sweetened condensed milk over the holes and let it soak in.
  5. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the brownies.
  7. Top with whipped topping and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

Ensure brownies are still warm when poking holes for better absorption. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
