Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in red food coloring, vanilla extract, and vinegar.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Chill the dough for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls, then roll each ball in powdered sugar to coat.
- Place on prepared baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until cookies have crinkled tops.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
