Description

A decadent cheesecake combining the classic red velvet flavor with crunchy Oreo cookies for a rich, creamy dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon red food coloring
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup whipped cream for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325Β°F (163Β°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Mix crushed Oreos and melted butter; press into the bottom of the pan to form the crust.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add sour cream, cocoa powder, red food coloring, and vanilla extract; mix well.
  5. Beat in eggs one at a time until fully incorporated.
  6. Pour the batter over the crust and bake for 50-60 minutes or until set.
  7. Cool in the oven with the door slightly open, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
  8. Top with whipped cream before serving.
