Description

A decadent cheesecake combining red velvet cake with Oreo cookies, featuring a creamy filling and chocolatey crust.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups Oreo cookie crumbs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • Filling:
  • 3 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon red food coloring
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 10 Oreo cookies, chopped
  • Topping:
  • Whipped cream for garnish
  • Additional Oreo cookies for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325Β°F (163Β°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix Oreo crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add sour cream, flour, eggs, red food coloring, and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
  5. Gently fold in chopped Oreo cookies.
  6. Pour the filling over the crust and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until the center is set.
  8. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool inside with the door slightly open for 1 hour.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
  10. Garnish with whipped cream and additional Oreo cookies before serving.
