Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder.
- In a large bowl, beat sugar and oil until combined, then add eggs one at a time.
- Mix in buttermilk, vanilla, red food coloring, and vinegar.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes. Let cool completely.
- For the cheesecake layer, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Spread the cheesecake mixture over the cooled red velvet base and top with sliced strawberries.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
