Delicious no-bake peanut butter balls coated in chocolate, perfect for a quick and irresistible treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons shortening

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix peanut butter and softened butter until smooth.
  2. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, stirring until a dough forms.
  3. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and shortening in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  5. Dip each chilled ball into the melted chocolate using a fork, then return to the baking sheet.
  6. Refrigerate the coated balls for at least 1 hour until set. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. For a nut-free version, substitute with sunflower seed butter.
