- 1 pre-made pizza dough
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 475Β°F (245Β°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sautΓ© the sliced onions until caramelized, about 10 minutes. Add chopped rosemary, salt, and pepper, and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Spread the onion and rosemary mixture evenly over the dough.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve.
Notes
For a crispier crust, use a pizza stone. This recipe is vegetarian and can be customized with additional toppings like olives or tomatoes.
