- For the Mashed Potatoes:

Instructions
- For the Meatballs: In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt, and pepper. Shape into 12 meatballs.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown the meatballs on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- For the Gravy: In the same skillet, melt butter. Add sliced onion and mushrooms; cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
- Return meatballs to the skillet with gravy. Simmer covered for 15-20 minutes until meatballs are cooked through.
- For the Mashed Potatoes: While the meatballs are simmering, boil potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and mash with milk, butter, salt, and pepper until creamy.
- Serve meatballs and gravy over mashed potatoes.
Notes
You can add a splash of red wine to the gravy for extra flavor. Make sure the meatballs are not overcooked to keep them juicy.
