For the Crust:
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed
- 1 cup long-grain white rice, uncooked
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
- Stir in the cooked chicken, steamed broccoli, uncooked rice, and 1 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese until everything is evenly coated.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it into an even layer. Cover tightly with foil.
- Bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil, top with the remaining 1/2 cup of cheese, and bake uncovered for another 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the rice is tender. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
