Description

Delicious slow cooker meatballs inspired by Salisbury steak, perfect for a hearty meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion soup mix, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
  3. Place the sliced onion and mushrooms in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  4. Add the meatballs on top of the vegetables.
  5. Pour beef broth over the meatballs.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until meatballs are cooked through.
  7. Season with salt and pepper before serving.

Notes

Serve with mashed potatoes or egg noodles for a complete meal.
