A hearty, easy-to-make lasagna using sausage, peppers, and ravioli in a slow cooker for a flavorful family meal.

- 1 pound Italian sausage, sliced
- 2 bell peppers, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 1 package (25 oz) frozen ravioli
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown the sausage over medium heat, then drain excess fat.
- Add sliced bell peppers, onion, and garlic to the skillet; cook until softened.
- Layer the bottom of the slow cooker with marinara sauce.
- Add a layer of frozen ravioli, then the sausage and vegetable mixture, and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat layers until ingredients are used, ending with cheese on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until ravioli is tender.
- Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a spicier version, use hot Italian sausage. This recipe can be prepared ahead and refrigerated overnight before cooking.
