Smashburger Quesadillas

Description

A fun twist on burgers and quesadillas, featuring smashed beef patties in a cheesy tortilla wrap.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1/2 cup pickles, sliced
  • Optional: ketchup and mustard for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape into balls.
  3. Place one ball of beef in the skillet and smash it flat with a spatula.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  5. Cook for 2-3 minutes until crispy, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  6. Remove from skillet and repeat with remaining beef portions.
  7. In the same skillet, place a tortilla and sprinkle with cheese.
  8. Add a smashed beef patty, onions, and pickles on one half of the tortilla.
  9. Fold the tortilla over and cook for 2 minutes per side until golden and cheese is melted.
  10. Repeat with remaining ingredients and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, add burger sauce or your favorite condiments.
