Description

A flavorful BBQ dish featuring stuffed and smoked pasta shells that combines meats and cheese for a smoky delight.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 12 manicotti shells
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef, cheddar cheese, onions, barbecue sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Stuff the mixture into the manicotti shells.
  3. Preheat your smoker to 225Β°F.
  4. Place the stuffed shells on the smoker rack and smoke for 2 hours.
  5. Increase the temperature to 250Β°F and smoke for an additional 30 minutes until the shells are tender and the meat is cooked through.
  6. Remove from the smoker and let rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, use applewood for smoking to add a subtle sweetness. Serve with additional barbecue sauce on the side.
