- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- For the topping: 1/4 cup granulated sugar mixed with 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Stir in melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract until just combined. Pour batter into the prepared dish.
- In a small bowl, mix together the topping ingredients. Sprinkle evenly over the batter.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Best served warm with vanilla ice cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
