Description

A warm, cinnamon-sugar cobbler with a snickerdoodle twist, featuring a buttery base and crunchy topping.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • For the topping: 1/4 cup granulated sugar mixed with 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Stir in melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract until just combined. Pour batter into the prepared dish.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the topping ingredients. Sprinkle evenly over the batter.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Best served warm with vanilla ice cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
