For the Crust:
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cubed
- 1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Season the chicken and shrimp with paprika, cayenne, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes until browned and nearly cooked through.
- Add the sliced bell pepper and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
- Push the chicken and peppers to one side, add the shrimp to the skillet, and cook for 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
- Pour in the chicken broth, stir everything together, and simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
- Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
