Spicy Chicken and Shrimp Skillet

A quick and fiery one-pan meal featuring tender chicken and succulent shrimp in a bold, spicy sauce.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cubed
  • 1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Season the chicken and shrimp with paprika, cayenne, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes until browned and nearly cooked through.
  3. Add the sliced bell pepper and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
  4. Push the chicken and peppers to one side, add the shrimp to the skillet, and cook for 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth, stir everything together, and simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
