Description

A fresh and hearty salad featuring grilled steak, creamy avocado, and crumbled feta cheese, tossed with fresh greens and a zesty dressing.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak
  • 2 ripe avocados, sliced
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 4 cups mixed salad greens
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the steak with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the steak for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  3. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes, then slice it thinly.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the salad greens, red onion, cherry tomatoes, and sliced avocados.
  5. Add the sliced steak to the bowl.
  6. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, then toss gently.
  7. Top with crumbled feta cheese and serve immediately.

Notes

For a lighter version, use grilled chicken instead of steak. Ensure avocados are ripe for the best flavor.
