Steak Shrimp Stir-Fried Noodles

  • Author: Chef Lalybeth

Description

A quick and flavorful stir-fry featuring tender strips of steak, succulent shrimp, and chewy noodles tossed in a savory sauce.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 8 oz flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
  • 8 oz large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz fresh lo mein or udon noodles
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil, divided
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Cook the noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat. Add the steak and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from the wok.
  3. Add the remaining oil to the wok. Add the shrimp and cook until pink, about 2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside with the steak.
  4. Add the bell pepper and broccoli to the wok. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until crisp-tender. Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Return the steak and shrimp to the wok. Add the cooked noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
  6. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve immediately.
