- For the Meatballs:
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- For the Sauce:
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix ground pork, fish sauce, garlic, ginger, egg, and breadcrumbs. Form into 1-inch balls.
- Place meatballs on a lined baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
- In a saucepan, combine sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, lime juice, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Toss cooked meatballs in the sauce until coated.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve.
Notes
Serve with steamed rice or as appetizers. Adjust spice level by modifying red pepper flakes.
