Description

A refreshing dessert combining fresh strawberries and ripe bananas in a creamy pudding base.

  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • Optional: Graham crackers for layering

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the instant pudding mix and cold milk until thickened, about 2 minutes.
  2. Gently fold in the sliced bananas and chopped strawberries into the pudding mixture.
  3. Layer the pudding mixture in serving glasses or a dish, alternating with whipped topping and graham crackers if using.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to chill and set.
  5. Serve cold, garnished with extra strawberry slices if desired.

Notes

For a healthier version, use sugar-free pudding mix and low-fat milk. This pudding tastes best when made with ripe, sweet bananas.
